Death of Betta

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that on Monday my fish Bo died. I think he was suffering from Ick, and I guess I didn’t treat it fast enough. He was my second betta, and now I don’t have a betta. But keep me posted about your other bettas, because I will still be on here posting about different tips I had with my bettas. I might get another betta in the future.

Aww, that’s sad. One good thing about bettas is that they are relatively inexpensive unless you want a rare. I recommend going to PetCo. if you want another, since they have a good selection at a low price.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Well before getting a new Betta I would medicate your tank with Quick Cure or Ich Guard to make sure that is out of the tank. I did not do that and some of my new tropical fish got it right away.

i`m really sorry to hear that, my betta also suffered fromn ich but luckilly he always gets better when i`m giving him this blue medicine for ich disease..not only that, it is also good for finrot….
goodluck for your new betta….better make it sure to ask a fish doctor the right and advanced medicine for your betta..and make it sure to check your betta everyday if there are certain changes in the skin….

Oh im sorry to here that. My beta fireboy died last month and it made me realy sad for a long time, but when I was ready I got a new baby one and I called him silver boy, the name similer to I guess make me feel like I wasnt forgetting and replacing fireboy.

bettas usually get ick from too fast temperature changes.

sorry carley that your betta bo died my fish is named blaze and he is a red dragon and we mite be geting him a mate this week

oh! thats sad.my Betta also died but i brought a new one soon to meet my sorrow.i kept it well and beleave me it’s a four inch happy fish.

Thats to bad. I read your story to my pet betta. His name is Homey and he did not look happy. I am seven years old. Lastly, Homey is a vetail betta.

early saterday morining my fish alex has died of old age he was a well behaved fish and he travled a lot with me i miss him so much i miss looking at his bright colors and talking with him rip alex

my betta died 2….. on jan. 4 2009……. his name was cinnamon or flamez. whenever i go into my room i always imagine his tank there. he used 2 nibble on my fingers.

manders how is telling ur age and wat gender u r not safe its not like ur telling location real full names and phone numbers. like im a ten year old girl. and carley u should get a betta! there beutiful fish and easy to take care of!

i go to pets mart to get my bettas i dont even think pets mart feeds the bettas witch r in a small plastic cup with a lid with wholes. their five dollor each

when my fish dies and i always but a new tank and i rinse the new tsnk with warm water just in case!
