My Bettas

Whew! I have been a busy little blogger the past two days. But, I finally got my pictures off my phone and wanted to upload them while I have time… and before I forget! 
Sorry they are a bit blurry and not very high quality, but a camera phone is all I got! They are all pretty little veil tails. My next one will be a crowntail. But I can only keep so many tanks in my dorm and the boyfriends place… so that will not be in the near future I hope! I sure do hope that I do not get a vacant tank anytime soon. Two are from Walmart, one from petco and one from petsmart. I know these are not the most fantastic place to buy fishies, but I saved these little splendens and gave them nice homes. Enjoy!
Tusk: the baby and a hardcore arkansas razorback fish fan!
Apollo: with fin rot/fungus…but I think it is getting better now. He got it from being in one of those Walmart betta vase horrible creations. I saved him.
Nemo: with a wadded up dorsal fin
Indy: the oldest
Thanks for looking at my babies… who are now yawning and glaring at me. Time to turn out the lights!

Hi my name is shayna. I’m 11 tears old and planning on getting a betta fish from Petco. I Read you have one from there. Is it halthy? Would you recimend a fish from there?

well if you live in austin then no no no no no and no!! petsmart MUCH in better in variety and heath then petco

i have one betta his name is Fire. i had 3 in my life now. Black and blue was my first betta. Blue was my 2nd betta and Fire is my newest betta. Blue and Black and blue were at walmart. those cups are terible all the bettas looks sad =(

I have a crown tail named Sushi with clamped fins. I think the last water change was the culprit, as I got a different variety than I normally use (I use cheapo spring water normally since it naturally has minerals in it and is chlorine free.) In any case I was able to get him back into his normal balance, but want to know if there is anything I can do for him to help his recovery. He’s looking a little pale and seems to be having difficult manuevering to go after his food. He’s such a fiesty little fellow, I hate to see him suffer, and I would hate even more to lose him. He’s become my mascot at work. (And he is NOT in one of those horrible vase creations.)

I like the seconde one coz it looks exactly like mine, but mines smaller and mine has glowing blue bits in places…
