		<description>Not necessarily, some male Betta&#039;s have short fins, I had a male betta get all his fins cut short, I couldn&#039;t tell him apart from my four female Betta&#039;s, other than the natural male behavior. Like making a bubble nest and flaring at his reflection. Or you could catagorize your Betta as an &quot;it&quot; My male Betta is named Sasha, but hes for breeding perposes, but once hes is a year old he&#039;ll be an &quot;It&quot;. I don&#039;t want to offend but it&#039;s my opinion that some of the very short finned Plakad Betta, look like a female veil tail betta.</description>
