Whenever I play music or start singing my bettas danced. I actually only have one betta. She’s my little baby girl. Her name is Shimmer, and I have to say she dances better than I do! I used to have a male crowntail named PrettyBoy, another male crowntail named Jasper, and a male halfmoon named Deluge. PrettyBoy lived for about a year and a half, Jasper wouldn’t eat, and Deluge lived a couple months. I take really good care of my fish, it’s just that I got them all from the worst petstore in the world!

no offense, but the fish wasn’t dancing, or even responding to her sound. Bettas react to vibrations, they dont actually hear like we do. But tht is cool and ironic! One time my cousin was spinning around in my room and my betta spun too. Maybe he thought it was a mating call??? idk.

My betta dances all the time! Also I’m thinking about getting another betta. Does anybody have recommendations about where to buy or what breed to buy? Thanks, it’s just that the only places that are close to where I live are PetsMart, PetCo, and the dreaded WalMart(I don’t know why they even sell fish). I don’t mind how much money the fish is, I am really just looking for a healthy fish, if anyone knows where to buy.
