I love the colors, but iv’e never prefered that fin-type on male fish. I find it makes it harder to distinguish them from females. I’m more original. You know the whole, males have long fins, females have short fins thing? On betta talk ( http://www.bettatalk.com ) in the catalog Faith (the founder and breeder) has developed some really interesting colors and patterns. Like the red-head oddity, that’s one where the fish has a red head (duh!), which makes the females look ahdorable! =-D
