The Betta Fish Condo
![]() |
If you’ve been reading this blog then you know I’ve mentioned a couple of times that your Betta fish wants more space. A simple way to do this is to have three interconnected fish bowls. I like to refer to them as rooms: a bedroom, a living room, and a bathroom. Can’t blow glass? Buy it here for $85.

I have a gallon bowl but not a triple bowl. I think it must be hard to clean but I have to say it’s NEAT!

It would be better for the fish just to get a bigger tank instead of fussing around with three small bowls.

if you had a little stopper in the section your betta would swim through… then you could keep three bettas togehter without them hurting each other.

Those bowls are itty bitty. I would never put my fish in something that small, even if it did have another small bowl conntected to it.

Sorry but for the price of 85$ I’d rather buy a bunch of 1 1/2 gallon critter keepers and keep my bettas happy that way. even tho there are 3 bowls connected, look at the amount of space in each, the fish still can’t actually get a good swim in. and it has to squeeze through these little passages just to find the next chamber is as small as the first… silly in my mind, especially at that price. And it takes up more room for the amount of space the poor betta has. just because bettas CAN live in small spaces doesn’t mean the should HAVE to.

It looks nice, but isn’t it a little impractical when you could buy a simple bowl or vase just as pretty as those bowls for a LOT less money. Plus why have 3 little bowls when you could have a tank or a vase? I just don’t get it. Oh, and hey let me tell you a little bit about my fish. I used to have a red crowntail named Pretty Boy, but after living with me for about a year he passed away. But before he died I got a girl betta named Shimmer, a typical mutt fish from the petstore who is still alive and kicking. Soon after Pretty Boy died I bought another friend for Shimmer, who I named Jasper. Jasper I bought also from a petstore and he was sick when I got him, so he too, passed away. I hope people read this and count my opinion. =-D

Oh and would anybody mind telling me what they feed their fish? Because I feed my fish a staple food of pellets with the occasianal flake. I’ll get back to you on the brand. =-P

i still dont believe that is enough space. I have 1 half moon betta in a 3 gallon tank, and 2 crown tail bettas in a divided 10 gallon tank. I want to give all 3 their own 10 gallon tank. I love watching them explore… Also my bettas dont have heaters and they do wonderful.
