that is awsome but it will be really hard cleaning out unless theres like an unlug thing at the bottom and all the fishes and water falls in to a bucket and then clean tank and then but the fish and new water back in love your idea. I think that would be best selling sink.

I neglected to address the lighting and noise issue. The back of the tank is clearly fixed with a light but even if it were not, lighting is an easy issue to address. As far as noise goes, the filter system the would more than likely provide some sort of 'soothing' noise.

Everyone here is too quick to judge this one way or another. I'm seeing OMG THAT'S HORRIBLE TORTURE!!! and THAT'S SO COOL!!!, not really much in between. Look at things before you jump to either conclusion, people. I see no further details on the item here but observation and common sense are wonderful things.

Obviously you would need to leave a little room at the top for air, which they have in this photo if you look very closely, and there would have to be some way of venting to keep the air fresh. I'm sure the person who spent all of the money and time to create this didn't make it as a torture device for fish and thought of this. If you look closely for that tiny gap you'll see there are plants in the tank as well. And look at the bottom of the sink, while I have you looking, to see there is no storage space for the toxins mentioned above. Toxins would have to be stored elsewhere, such as in a small closet in the bathroom and likely would be anyway in the home of anyone eccentric enough to buy one of these. In addition, a $5,000 sink is not going to be installed in a home with only one sink. If someone were to need to soak their clothes as someone above mentioned, why wouldn't they use the bathtub or the kitchen sink? The size of this sink alone would discourage such actions. Furthermore, look at the spigot. That is not made for high water pressure. That spigot would provide a trickle of water to rinse one's hands, not a rush that would traumatize the fish in the tank. Now moving on to cleaning I'll say there is more than likely a way to remove the top for cleaning and changing the water (which would explain why the spigot is not attached to said part), because these things would obviously need to be done and no one is going to expect anyone to put out five grand for a fish tank they can't even clean. This coupled with the fact that there are water conditioners, algae eaters, and snails to help keep tanks clean means there shouldn't be much of an issue. Having explained all of these things the concerned folk who commented here did not seem to see, I must say I like this idea. However, I would keep it for goldfish because Betta are not known to be friendly with one another and this tank would look quite nice with a few glittering fish swimming around, rather than the one colorful fish.

Sorry, it only looks cute but I bet the fish might not really appreciate impacts and such. They could be stressed out as a consequence and we all know that's not exactly good for them.
