Keep Your Betta Fish In Your Sink
![]() |
Don’t really put them in your sink! That would not be good. But here is an amazing sink design that has a fish tank built into the actual sink. I will cost you about $4,700 before shipping, but can you really put a price on being able to keep fish in your sink?

March 15th, 2008 at 4:36 am
Hah, I’d hate that. Can you imagine how the poor fish would feel?

imagine wow ugly your bathroom would be if the water got dirty.. or you decided to empty the tank..
gorgeous but not practical enough from an interior designer’s point of view

That would be really cool!, but cleaning it would be a B%#&%! so i think that wouldn’t be worth getting. Awsome though!
-Cool as a tank
-Crap as a sink

I like the faucet… =]
I think its rather spiffy to be honest. But very pricey. Oh well. =]

If I had that type of money I would buy it but just like the other people said it would be a B%#&% to clean every week I would kill myself

Would that not put the fish under stress from rapid temperature changes? I like aquariums, but almost five grand to stress out fish? Not likely.
December 15th, 2008 at 4:08 am
yeah, that would be terrible to clean out, and it’s kinda cool and everything, but hey, my betta is perfectly happy in his 2.5 gallon tank, why splurge?
January 11th, 2009 at 8:53 pm
Now, I have a betta and that fish tank is really neat but, It’s way to expensive to spend on a fish! Your fish is gonna die anyhow. Love the tank but too expensive.
January 19th, 2009 at 7:59 pm
Wow i would love that but don’t think its all that nessicary to have fish in your sink you know?
February 11th, 2009 at 7:06 pm
thats so awesome… my fish is dying i dont no what to do its so sad????
February 16th, 2009 at 12:32 am
Wow thats cool looking but expensive, streesful and looks REALLY HARD to clean
March 1st, 2009 at 11:58 am
That’s so evil!!! How would you like to be stuck in a tank that gushing, loud water!!! And the temp. changes every time you or some one else use the sink!!! Torture!!! TORTURE I SAY!!!!!!!! I hate for the fact that you are evil to fish!!!!
March 19th, 2009 at 12:04 am
thats cool but looks really hard to clean. think how the fish would feel with all of those tempiture changes. and its rather pricey
June 15th, 2009 at 9:11 pm
THAT IS SAD AND MEAN, AND EVIL F*** WHO EVER DID THAT.

June 30th, 2009 at 4:17 am
NUMBER ONE HARD TO CLEAN NUMBER TWO WAY TO EXPENSIVE NUMBER THREE LIKE A FORTUNE TO INSTALL!!!!! my fish r in a triangle one gallon split in half by a divider the tank is plastic so they each get their own half gallon triangle room with blue and clear round rocks with one plant in both and my two fish LOVE eatch other they even mated! they jumped over the divider to lay eggs!
July 16th, 2009 at 8:41 pm
If you’re rich enough to buy that, then just hire someone to clean it for you and take care of the fish (my younger sister, in this case). I bet you she’d do anything for some m&ms. maybe it’ll teach you to use less water (for the sake of the fish).
July 24th, 2009 at 7:08 pm
hmmm…lets see. betta’s breathe/take in air at the waters surface. in this tank that would not be possible. bettas and most other fish can go into shock with water temp fluctuations – which will more than likely be the cause of death for the fish since the water running out of the faucet may be too warm or too cold. betta also thrive better in heated tanks and if the water temp isn’t stable and a heater is necessary – how would one go about getting one in the tank??? better yet, if a fish dies how would you get the darn thing out if a fish net can’t get in there….. very stupid on my opinion….
July 27th, 2009 at 9:17 pm
omg sooo cool but your fish would hate that anyway im not gonna buy that just for a fish
July 29th, 2009 at 12:11 am
that would totally suck to clean that thing
August 3rd, 2009 at 1:31 pm
cool i also saw the toilet.
August 4th, 2009 at 8:14 pm
TORTUREIN FISHES IS NOT A GOOD IDEA
August 19th, 2009 at 4:17 am
I WANT THAT!!!
September 7th, 2009 at 1:11 am
this is neat but don’t betta’s kill each other and this in torture and if i had that what good would it be to buy that for 1 betta????
September 30th, 2009 at 3:04 am
LOL 2 kool
October 5th, 2009 at 2:49 am
OMG!!! that looks SOOO cool, but my betta wouldn’t like it.
October 19th, 2009 at 4:26 am
cool bit what if the betta dies then you have a sink tank thig
October 25th, 2009 at 12:41 pm
cool, but really expensive. would u have time to clean that?
November 9th, 2009 at 6:22 pm
yall are to hard on the ppl who made this if u notice they have gold fish in it. Goldfish are carp, cold water species, and can survive temp changes like they do in the wild. any way who would wash their hands so long that the temp on the inside would change. and with the air thing just dont fill it to the top. duhu. with a mod and a drill any thing is possible! hehehe!
January 17th, 2010 at 8:30 pm
that is sooo fucky for the fish
February 23rd, 2010 at 6:52 pm
That is really cool but do the betta fish get enough air? Really. I mean is there a bowl so that the betta fish won’t get hurt by the soapy water?
I like it, but it needs an upgrade.
March 17th, 2010 at 11:19 pm
dang wow!!
March 27th, 2010 at 4:12 am
Next they should make a toilet one
April 25th, 2010 at 4:25 am
how would you clean tht???
May 2nd, 2010 at 3:21 pm
THATS MEAN!!

Horrific idea. (45 years experience and degrees in biochemistry one does not need that background to note as many here have noted not a great idea…)
Esp for any betta which needs surface area with steady state temp as that of water – 80.
As well, they are found (not all some are in cooler river systems) in heavily planted systems – all fish need plants, rocks, wood for security.
One temp variations –
Two – fish need security – vibration, water running (noise to them esp since water absorbs and is louder under water) light – most fish need security of plants – there is not enough light (or proper ) for any plants.
Another treat the fish as “object” idea without real concern for it’s needs. Fish, are sentient beings with nervous systems and can suffer immense pain (degrees in psychology where I did research on the horrors of lab testing).
Esp around their super sensitive mouths (like a man’s you know what). And when bacteria enter their bloodstreams (Bacterial septicemia) they suffer horribly as well – just can’t hear them scream. (most animals even when enduring unbearable pain such as leg in steel trap will not make noise as their instinct (like us) is to self preserve and not draw attention and be eaten.)
(long ago Descarte decided animals can not feel “pain” like us and this allowed for immense suffering for decades based on this false assumption.)
As well, can you imagine the maintenance – not so squeaky clean with algae or slime on sides (not that a well maintained tank would have this.
And, any sprays, such as hair spray, cleaning sprays, lotions (all toxic but esp in small amounts to fish, birds, cats)
Where’s the filter, air stone so on.. (maybe underneath) (next to more stored toxins)
Just a not well thought out design. (for the fish that is)
BTW – they do make one for toilets (another idiotic idea for the same maybe worse reasons).
(bang the back seat – fish stressed!)
Good thing it costs so much and at some point when fish start to die, probably from shock, stress, toxins, and lack of care at some point they will not replenish them – poor fish.
That said as a person who sculpts – It is beautiful and I would think it would be super for a rock display, or shells underwater though on a layer of sand.
They would be magnified by the water and colors enhanced.
But a horrible cruel idea (as so many are) for any living thing.
To the person commented on carp – no carp would do well for long (or goldfish for that matter) in such an environment.
For photos sake or otherwise – their are way to many goldfish in this set up (they have completely different digestive systems and different waste outputs then tropical fish – and thus need much more space per fish – about 20 gallons for each small fish with room to grow (their inner organs get stunted out of shape in smaller environments over time)…..
Plus, extra filtration which this falls way short on both counts. Plus they need plant vegetation to nibble on (for that different digestive tract)…..
(read up on that)… and as well, any fluctuation in nature (large body systems, do not occur in such rapid fashion for the most part and those fish, not being bred commercially (and not at all like the “carp” sold in pet stores) are acclimated to their environment.
In our tanks changes should be (ph, bacteria and temp) done very slowly over many hours if not days (ph)…
What if someone runs hot water to soak their clothes!
OH – the horrors!

wouldnt that be really hard to clean?????? poor bettas
