Betta Health: Finrot (Bacterial)

Appearance:
A early sign may be red spots usually at the ends of the fins. The fins will start to dissolving and fall appart.
Symptoms:
The betta may act sluggish and have pale color. Usually because of poor water
Treatment:
You can use “Ampicillex” or “Neosulfex” by Aquatronics. Check your local fish store for medications.

Ohhhh. Poor baby, that must HURT. I hope Shimmer dosen’t ever get finrot. But all in all that is a beautiful fish, a pastel perhaps? Hey can you guys tell me about all your fish? It’s so nice to a website were you can talk to betta lovers everywhere.

Poor Carmichael has this, and bacterail infection, Petco has medication for it. Carmichael is the first ffish I ever had that has gotten sick on me, and I’ve owned them since first grade, and I’m in 11th grade now.

when i got my betta, he had fin rot and on the day i got him, a bit of his tail fell off. I NEARLY FAINTED coz i’de never owned a fish before, lol
but know (in a month) his tail has grown back three quaters of the way!
